Eliana Negri

Counsellor and Psychotherapist

I’m a qualified, trauma-informed Counsellor and Psychotherapist with a background in both clinical and community settings including my work with ACON supporting LGBTQA+ communities impacted by sexual and domestic violence, and several years in women's health and mental health care across medical practices.

As a queer practitioner with lived experience in the kink and non-monogamous communities, I understand how isolating it can feel to work with a therapist who doesn’t get the full picture.

My practice was born from that gap. This is a place where you can explore your identities, relationships, and healing journeys without fear of judgment or pathologisation in traditional therapy.

I do both Counselling and Psychotherapy

While the terms are often used interchangeably, there are some differences in focus and depth:

Counselling tends to be shorter-term and focuses on specific issues, like managing stress, navigating relationships, or adjusting to life changes. It’s supportive, practical, and goal-oriented.

Psychotherapy often goes deeper, exploring long standing patterns, emotional wounds, and the underlying roots of dynamics. It’s typically longer-term and involves deeper self-exploration and healing.

Both approaches are valuable and I draw from both depending on what you need. Whether you're seeking tools for day-to-day life or want to dig into deeper layers, we’ll work together to find a pace and process that feels right for you at a pace that feels safe.
